thanks very much to you all for taking time to offer pond advice, it's very welome. we do already have six newts, pond snails and pond skippers as well as lots of small blobby things swimming about! so it bodes well for the future. enjoy your bank holiday xx

have just built my first wildlife friendly garden pond. have put in oxygenators, marginals and some lillies but it still seems to be getting cloudy. any advice on whether i need a filter or any thing else to help with general pond clarity would be very much appreciated. xx a hopeful beginner ,
