My lovely Habitat bed, bought from the flagship Tottenham Court Road store in the early 00s, is too big for my new bedroom. It has a steel frame (headboard and legs) with wooden slats across the width. Pics attached. It's a big double.

Sturdy black iron double bed frame bought from Habitat at the turn of the century - too big and grand for my small bedroom now I've moved. £100 or near offer, collection from SE5. Iron headboard and frame, wooden slats across base. Or swap for simple Scandi-style wooden base from IKEA etc.
