wod - (I have a copy of it on Video) but I have searched lots and cannot find mention of it being banned - I don't know why it has not been shown much but I am sure I watched it a year or so ago on TV (Maybe the Beeb?) with my sons - I made a point of asking them if they would like to watch "My favourite movie of all time" with me, and they did (to mixed opinions) I know it has not been shown a lot - why, I don't know, but possibly due to the stigma of Mental Institutions (this movie came out in 1975 and electric shock treatment etc was then the norm, I think) I agree, everyone should watch it (mostly because Jack Nicholson was at his very best in this one :D) and also though some serious and sad scenes are prevalent, there are also some scenes that make you laugh so hard and smile a lot :) This REALLY should be shown more! Sue
