  1. HTFU!

In all seriousness, I find Camberwell New Rd quite pleasant, everything keeps moving and you don't have to worry too much about peds running out in front of you (which is a constant headache going the Walworth Rd. way). THe only drawback is Millbank which is always a pain for me. Eitherway you're going to have to compromise somewhere.

  2. I always find out where the nearest convenience stores are and their opening times. This also applies to moving house! As for the hotel room I too usually fiddle about with where the sockets are, back in the day it was essential to know if I could plug in my dial-up modem and what the local PAYG ISP was. Lame.

As for news stories, I think the first one I remember was the Gulf War starting. I broke my arm and was took to the local A&E by a very annoyed father, the nurse joked they had their first casualty of war as the TV in the waiting room blurted out details of our scud missiles. I think it was the first time my attention was ever pushed in the direction of news, as at 6 O'Clock time I was usually playing (hence the broken arm).

  3. Looks like spammage due to the link?

Anyway, I am genuinely new here?if only out of desperation for a certain product?but it seems a nice forum.

    'sup?

  4. Cinema is great but to be honest you've got the best in London not too far away. Brixton Ritzy is really nice since all the work, and for cheapness there's PeckhamPlex.

Plus, hate to be realistic and everything, but unless one of the churches decides to sell, there aren't any apt buildings for conversion.

  5. I don't think they did themselves any favours coming on here, but it was brave nevertheless.

The fact of the matter is, affordable housing in London doesn't exist. I think it a very inventive thing to do whilst studying and shows great initiative and resourcefulness. Even if it's not a political standpoint and they are just freeloading, I salute them.
