  1. Hi Dulwich Fox,

I looked at this today on iPad, sadly agree with all comments above re being old-fashioned. To help you hear and accept all the comments above I suggest you remove yourself personally from the comments and think of yourself as the editor, you now need your techy person to help your idea/company flourish. Many comments above will help your techy person succeed and therefore your concept and the success of this site grow. Don't take it personally and it will be a success, take it personally and change nothing and none of us will ever use the site as it's not appealing.Additionally, all web pages need to work well on mobile technology or won't be used. My comments are supportive and I hope they read as such.

  2. Can any one tell me how Omrith is getting away with those hideous neon white shop frontage lights? Harsh and tacky. James Barbour??

Also the old chippy is planning to be a kebab shop - never saw any planning re this?? Happy if it just got the skip out of the front though and opened, as messy for months now.

Additionally the grubby yellow shop beside the barber had people going in and out for a while but has not opened. Any idea what is going on?

Would like to say huge thanks to The Galleon Hairdressers who have done an enormous amount to improve this busy and successful but a bit tatty set of shops, love the co-op (!) french cafe, italian restaurant, pharmacy, post-office, DIY shop (but tatty too, though, which is ironic), and then turkish deli always have anything I am needing so I like them - rant over?...

  3. Not sure this is at all official painting, seems more ad hoc and impromptu.I live on FHR and I like them! There was a plan from Southwark council last year, which we all had through our doors, saying they would paint them black again. ( This was part of larger "traffic calming" measures. ( taking away parking spaces, really.) I know several neighbours wrote back to council to say they liked the colourful bollards. So we DID vote for this!
  4. I live on Forest Hill Road and the speed of cars appears to have drastically INCREASED since those crossing places were put in. The crossing places have only made it marginally easier to cross. The should be zebra crossings and at least cars would slow down a bit. If you are driving down hill you can see any evidence of crossing places so drivers make no allowance for this. I saw the aftermath of this crash when on way to work, and sadly was not surprised. There is an urgent requirement to reduce speed on this road before people are killed. James Barbour - response please.
