I have links with the adventure playground which is located between the estate and Sainsburys. It is an amazing resource to have on your doorstep - the kids will love it and I've often wished that my kids could have grown up in the area.

I ride an old Giant mountain bike I picked up in holland for 18 euro and wondered, during the recent icy spell, where are all the fixies - I was cycling through Spitalfields at the time. Then, crossing the Essex road, I saw a fixie doing a track start balance at the lights with a full size christmas tree on his shoulder. Cool, very cool, I begrudgingly admitted.

I'm new to the East Dulwich Forum and couldn't help noticing that most of the recent threads are concerned with petty thefts, break-ins and general suspicious activity in the area. And then at the weekend I read the beginning of Andy McNab's autobiography 'Seven Troop'.

These are direct quotes and show that not a lot has changed over thirty years except for the fact that the target has maybe shifted a bit nearer than Dulwich village.
