  1. I have seen a guy in deliveroo uniform, although quite scruffy, on a folding bicycle hanging around the Goose green park area. He was there very early one morning in his uniform and bicycle and I have also noticed him cycling on Adys/Ondine and East Dulwich rd in the evening and he just passed me again. He is in his 50s, has a beard and glasses and may be an authentic deliveroo person but his timings and demeanour are odd. Just wondered if anyone else had noticed him?
  2. What is going on??

I know copper is a precious comdity at the minute, but do the residents of goose green area not have enough sirens to deal with without extra ones set off by a canary, pigeon or the wind!!! Then to make it worse telling us all, playing in our back gardens, that security are on their way!

Arent the church supposed to shelter children form fear like this rather than shove it down their throats while they try to sleep in their beds???? Get rid!

  3. We had same problem with our 2 1/2 year old refusing to poo, then I read that changing your vocabulary can help, so instead of saying "do you need a wee/poo?" you say "Tell mummmy when you need a wee/poo" and within 2 days she had sorted it out for herself, after a month of on off accidents and now success!! The next catalogue also helped!! lots of nice pictures to look at!
  4. Hi tried to organise a street party to happen this spring and it was going to cost ?300 just to close the road!!

Then all the permits for everything else made it an uphill struggle.

Peckham Rose is right thats Southwark council for you! Lets get rid of any kind of community spirit by playing the money card. God forbid neighbours want to be sociable or friendly!!

  5. Think it is time to end this thread! You are right in your world chivalry is cobblers.

The right thing is the way to go and this man did not do the right thing!

He used a scarey situation to his own advantage and terrified an innocent woman. She had no idea what he was going to do or how she was going to get away. It was an empty street and there were no people around, he invaded her personal space and sense of security.

We only wanted to make sure ladies out on their own were more careful than my friend and that people be cautious, not start a race, gender or crime debate!

I may have been flippant, more trying not to terrify others than flippancy.

I find this whole discussion unbelievable, considering some of the crap that is talked about on here, but those who have found it useful I am glad, those who have not, dont dwell on it or give it another thought!
