Yes exactly, can only assume the driver was unaware of what happened. Thanks for all the sensible comments, in the past I had wing mirror knocked off and posted, the driver got in contact and we sorted things out amicably.

Fully agree, I had a hot water issue which he managed to do a temporary fix on till he could get the part to do a full fix the following day. Hot water issue sorted!!!

You did however stop to pick up your mirror, unfortunately you picked up mine rather than yours. Appeal every time, I think that they intentionally make the signage very bad so that people do park there innocently. Then have the sneaky camera cars snapping away at ?120 a ticket!!! Not that I am bitter about my tickets!!!!!

A word of warning that the bay outside Acorn estate agents on Lordship Lane, is a bus lane untill 10am. I was given 2 tickets by 2 seperate camera cars within 5 minutes of each other. There is no sign on the post, where there should according to the research I have done. I appealed twice but have not heard anything back, James Barber, who I had copied into my appeals, has also taken an interest.
