I feel like this is classic council behaviour at the moment. Underfunded and trying to find some easy money without properly thinking things through or consulting. My sons both go to the Belham. It?s a great school and a wonderful community but the business case they submitted over 12 months ago has been totally ignored.

Any update from the Peckham meeting please? I couldn?t make it.

Does anyone know who runs the apron stall on north cross road market please? Near the bottom on the right. I couldn?t get there this week but would like to get one as a present.

I wanted to add a further recommendation for Helen and Steve and their team. They came in after we had an extension built and put up some amazing looking fences on both sides, boarded the neighbour's side, and then re-turfed the lawn that had been trashed by the builders. They worked around our builders and did part of the work in the autumn and came back in the spring to finish off. They were flexible and we left them keys to our house so they could put up the fencing while we were away. Helen also gave some free garden advice with it. Very happy indeed.

A friend recommended Piplings on Peckham Rye but despite sending them an email and calling every other day for 2 weeks, I still haven't managed to get in touch with anyone to arrange a tour or talk about the waiting list.

Anyone have any comments about the admin there generally? Is it overall pretty inefficient? And was my friend right to be so positive in the first place? I'm beginning to have my doubts...

Hello all

We have a new baby and we are starting to think about childcare. Can anyone please give me an idea of the rough cost of a 3 day a week sole charge nanny, all in including tax and NI? I guess hours would be 8.15 to 6.15.

How are the costs different if it's a nanny share?

I've tried to look it up on the web but finding it hard to fathom the answer so hoping that some ED families out there might be able to help me.

They have two pregnancy yoga classes - on Saturdays and on Thursdays. I am doing one of the regular classes and one of the pregnancy classes. My yoga teacher, Kim, is also pregnant. Her class is brilliant and she's starting a pregnancy class in Forest Hill (a bit far for me but she's an excellent teacher and well worth travelling for - the link to her class is here http://www.brightyoga.co.uk/pregnancy.html).

I've got yoga on Sunday morning (2nd March) so couldn't do a morning meet up. But I could do anytime after about 12pm.

29th March sounds like it'd be a good date to put in the diary as well so why don't we plan both now and hopefully those who can't make one can make the other?
