  1. MOTD just got a whole lot better. So nice to see Thierry Henry in Alan Hanson's place - talks sense and great to look at!
  2. We had a lovely party - mainly because I organised it! We had a tour of the BBC where I had the chance to be a weathergirl, then drinks back at the office followed by lovely meal at Union Cafe Marylebone Lane. Delicious steak and lots of pinot grigio.

I need legal help to get a Sponsorship Number from the Home Office so we can hire a worker who has an Indian passport
  4. I have to register the company I work for to get a sponsorship number for an IT worker from India. I have looked at Home Office website and I think it would be easier to employ a company to do this for me. Anyone got any recommendations on who to use and costs?
  5. Thanks all will give it a try
  6. I now have an Ipad and Kindle has been made redundant. I want to give my Kindle to a friend to use - anyone know how you can reregister a Kindle so she can download books direct? Have looked at Amazon site but unable to find the answer.
  7. I have to say Joey really brightens up my November evenings. I thought it was sweet when he didn't know who Cher was - the only Cher he knew was the young Cher Lloyd from ex factor. Also he did not know the words to "I will survive" - makes me despair of our education system!
  8. or even Excuse Me Please would be nice
  9. From March 2014 India will be doing visas on arrival - what a relief and hopefully much cheaper!

  11. I don't understand - I got 8 points at the weekend - why am I only showing as getting 5?

Hope it is not that bad for you tomorrow.
  13. Just started work for a new small company and I need to write a H&S policy. To save me reinventing the wheel does anyone have one they could share with me from their company?
  14. I have obviously not been paying attention! I am sure they will do well with people coming home from work on the train who don't want to trudge to Sainsbos for their dinner
  15. I thought this was to be demolished and flats and library built underneath butjust saw notice on the building for a licence for Morrisons supermarket? Any one know anything about this?
  16. Saw Midsummer Night's Dream a couple of weeks ago - David Walliams is excellent - scenes reminiscent of Little Britain. Sheridan also good - forest scene has a hippy feel to it - could almost be from Hair! Also went to see Committments last week - not much story line just lots of motown music - think it will be a hit with hen parties.....
  17. How about clearing up the mess instead of taking pictures? We all need to take responsibility for our community.
  18. Roadworks now cleared - until the next time they need to fix the road where it collapses from the weight of buses at the bus stop
  19. Team supported: Arsenal Where from: Windsor Reason: Mum from Islington, Dad's first Arsenal match he saw was in 1944 against Reading, now take him to the Emirates, his sons not intereted in footie!
  20. Well done Everton for keeping Arsenal at the top of the table! - at least til Monday night......
  21. Saffron - Lastminute showing tickets for Mathilda on 19th Sept for ?34.00 and matinee 29 Sept ?36.40
  22. The Menier Chocolate factory does good deals on previews but as the theatre is so small and so popular they don't need to discount. I recently went to Southwark Playhouse for ?10 and the Young Vic has tickets for ?19.50. Last Minute.com also does cheap tickets - I have recently bought tickets for Dolls House ?15, Pride ?12 and Committments ?12.
  23. For all you ladies out there get down to Southwark Playhouse to see Max Irons (the Tudors and The White Queen) in person in Farragut North!
  24. I think it is great food - try the pork pibil - very authentic and mouth watering.
  25. Sharon is a very good advert to show what happens when you drink too much!
