  1. Sorry to those who this happened to, and also to anyone who now feeling worried by reading about it. It's not on.

Does anyone know any good self-defence classes in the area? (I don't want/need to be able to fight fight, and get the 'be aware of your environment/walk confidently, ect' messages)or if not we could group together to organise something? I know it won't help in all circumstances, but we shouldn't be feeling worried about going about our every day (street wise) lives or be ill equipped should anything happen. Good on you Bailey84.

  2. I was in shock but my brain is naturally retraining its self that anything unexpected is not a physical threat.

A big thumbs up for the people of East Dulwich though - I've had a few encounters with folk on the streets whilst acting like a mad women trying to go about my normal activities and everyone has been very accepting and kind!

Nobody was injured as far as I know, which is amazing. The bus drove into an elbow of a lorry arm (think cherry picker without a basket) smashing through a upstairs window and pulling it through the rest.

  3. Hey guys, just got my first pair of running trainers and really excited about giving them a whirl on Tuesday! So even if the weather is completely pants, I'll be there!

For anyone thinking about coming along but not feeling sure because of their current fitness levels; my old trainers were bought for me by my mum in the late 90s in an attempt to make me go to aerobics with her, the fact they lasted this long goes to show how much exercise I did before joining Tuesday running club so don't be worried! Walking, jogging and a combo of the two are completely smiled upon! :-)
