  1. Hi,

Would parents of either St John's and St Clement's or Belham Primary be willing to share their experiences with us? Are you/were you happy with the academic programme, the quality of teaching, the general atmosphere...? We are parents of a 7 and 5 year old and trying to decide which school to choose. Would hugely appreciate any insights (feel free to PM me).

    Many thanks.

  2. He really was great. I should add that he was a fraction of the price of other people we spoke to, given he didn't charge an hourly call out rate but rather just quoted for the job (a total of ?70 for a Friday night at 9pm and he was then at the house for several hours). At the time, we had tenants living in the house and we were abroad. He followed up with me by phone and email numerous times and did an excellent job of explaining the problem, along with pictures. The tenants raved about how polite he was.
  3. We can highly recommend Rob Campbell. We called him a few months ago to urgently address a serious leak. He came out-of-hours and didn't charge an extra fee. He was extremely conscientious and meticulous in sorting the problem. He did an outstanding job. He was absolutely lovely to deal with as well!

  4. Hi,

We have a 7 and 5 year old and would like to get them involved in an after-school or weekend football team. We've just moved to London and would welcome advice on where to go. We're looking for a very relaxed atmosphere with an emphasis on team spirit and skill development rather than an overly competitive spirit.

    Huge thanks for any recommendations!

  5. Hello! We'd love your help. We're moving back to the UK after many years abroad with a 7 and 5 year old in tow. We're looking for local information on primary schools. Of course we can search the schools' websites but it's so useful to have parents' insights as well. Which schools are more progressive in terms of curriculum? Which schools challenge the children to think/explore whilst also having fun? Thanks so much!
  6. Thank you for your responses thus far. We are ideally looking for Russian or Spanish but given the limited availability, we'd consider anything (so thank you for the suggestion of the German nursery). We're currently living in Armenia and our nanny speaks Russian. We're with the Foreign Office so will always be in living abroad when not posted to London. Our daughter will be two when we return to London next March and we'll just be looking for a few mornings a week.

    Thank you again.
