We've got to drive to Heathrow tomorrow at about 5ish. I know the traffic's going to be horrible, but we need to do it. So, does anyone have any advice about the best driving route to try and make it less awful? Thanks!

I go back to work in January 2014, by which time my son will be 10 months old. I'd like a fulltime childminder for him to start then, but I'm not sure when to start phoning around - is it too early now? I'm worried they won't know what their availability will be like in Jan at the moment, but equally I'm keen to get something sorted in plenty of time to save me stressing about it later in the year. Could anyone advise me about this? Also, if anyone has a recommendation for a childminder who will have a vacancy in Jan, could they let me know too? Thanks
