Hello, I’m looking for a Braun shaver charger/power lead – the cable that plugs into the shaver (2-pin connection) and then into a UK plug. I lost mine during a move and need to charge my shaver before my holiday. I think other shaver adapters with the same 2-pin connection should work too. Happy to buy or borrow if anyone has a spare. Thanks

Hello, We’re looking for a reliable builder to replace a kitchen window with a back door. The opening was originally a door and was converted to a window by previous owners as part of an unfinished remodel, so this is a reinstatement rather than a new opening. The property is a flat and planning permission is already in place. We’d be grateful for recommendations for builders who are happy to take on smaller, well-defined projects and who’ve done similar work to a good standard. Thanks very much.

Hello, I’m looking for a small amount of Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax (or a similar low-VOC hardwax oil). Happy to pay. It’s for sealing the end grain on a gate I’ve made. Thanks, K

Also recommended Stephen. Second all the above; he did a great job for us.

Male dog - possibly German shepherd cross (tan/golden colour with some black markings) - found wandering the streets in this area. Found at approx 8.45 am Tuesday 6 May. He had a collar but no contact details. Seemed fully grown. He's with Medivet Lordship Lane. No microchip. They're going to contact Southwark dog warden.

Our cat Booboo has been missing since early Sunday morning (09 March). He's a three-year-old male cat with black fur (short). He's recognisable from having very big feet - I think about two extra toes on each paw. He's very nervous of strangers and doesn't go out the front of our house - he mainly hangs out in the back gardens on our block (Goodrich/Barry/Friern Road). If you spot him please let us know (07771915355).

It can get pretty bad on our road, drives me mad. As mentioned on the previous thread though, when I've reported any to the council they've been pretty quick at cleaning it up https://www.southwark.gov.uk/parking-streets-and-transport/street-care/dog-poo

Food waste bin - what is acceptable to line it with?
kristen replied to Sue's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I thought it was ok to line with newspaper, which is what we started doing after checking online some time ago: https://www.southwark.gov.uk/bins-and-recycling/food-and-garden-waste/recycle-your-food-waste The newspaper from our bin was left behind today when the food waste was collected so maybe this isn't ok now?
