  11. Muckers I've rescued the odd pan, in fact they're never too far gone IMHO You may try this "nette?method" Take a couple of cans of cheap chopped tomatoes & a bottle of vinegar.( if it's a big pan add 3/4 pint of water too ) Mix together in said pan & bring to the boil. Make a paper/foil and lay on top of the liquid Place pan with lid on in the oven on the lowest shelf/rack ( but not the oven base ) Cook at 150 for a good few hours. Nette(tu) Is said pan stainless steel or aluminium BTW ?

  14. Telegraph ? * keels over * I'm about to jug some cornish kippers, are they a "ready meal" I wonder ? Nette(?)
  15. The Woodman has been acquired by Wooster Stock & the Greyhound is Sydenhams oldest pub I think. Though I didn't know that the old post-office was going to be a pub, hopefully they'll keep the feel of the old place. I quite fancy queuing up for ages whilst one person serves at their own pace. On a serious note, i've noticed a change along the new East London Line, in places like Brockley etc & it seems like it's spreading to Forrest Hill / Sydenham as well. I think the area as a whole needs a boost but things are changing for sure. Fancy an ale down there when it opens SJ ?
  16. SOoooooo that's ready meals "off the menu" then. * ahem * N:-S

Moos I'm so very upset as I'd have said "foreplay" or "fingering" Please, can I be taken out of the box/readymeal equation. Thanks so. Annette
  23. And... Have a look at Rock while you're there. It is rather snooty in a nice way. Call in at the Doom-Bar brewery shop to buy some great ales on the way in. When in Rock proper, park up the hill in the field on the left for 3 quid all day, catch the ferry to Padstow a 10 minutes boat ride away. Have a mooch and lunch there, then ferry back to Rock & collect your car. Or if you're feeling two star flush then try Natan Outlaw Very nice indeed. Nette(tu)
