  1. Got Breast Cancer and after two surgeries my chemo is starting next week - got the perfect wig today (NHS) and loved it so fortuitous as if made for me. Left it stupidly on the overground to Crystal Palace (got off at Honor Oak Park around 13:30) today - got distracted as I bumped into someone. If anyone knows or hears anything or finds it, it is in a black box in a black plastic bag. Please contact me as it means SO MUCH. Thank you.

  3. Hi, I'm still on the look out for an experienced live-in au pair aged 22 - 25... preferably with experience in London. 31.5 hrs roughly a week. Must be happy to speak Spanish with my children however would have time in day for English course. I have 3 children and the au pair will be in a happy relaxed family environment. Anyone know of anyone please pm me. Many thanks.
  4. My pre school four year was so furious with me last week he threw a plate at my six month old baby. I put him out the back door and he screamed so loud the neighbour came round. Told me I was an awful mother that she had had five kids and never once locked them out the back door. Think how I felt!!!!
  5. I met a mum friend today who told me that a strange man was following her and her kids from school, around the supermarket etc on several occasions. Other mums reported the same. I know it is in Forest Hill but just to be alert. My friend made statement to police and the guy they got was granted bail by court and was electronically tagged. This was at St Bartholomews primary school in Forest Hill. Strangely I met another mum friend later who said that they are on look out for another male pursuing women with kids at Thomas Tallis school in Blackheath. Just good to be cautious always if anyone sees anyone strange around their school run then call police.
  6. It is crazy there are lots of Fairlawn mums living in Marmora road having to push those big prams up that very steep hill. I live in Honor Oak Road and the bus doesn't go up to there!!!! Currently pregnant and as Co-op in Forest Hill Road is my local grocery pushing my a buggy up that steep hill being pregnant is a nightmare. I also feel for the elderley. Something must be done. If another petition has to be drawn up I'm well up for supporting it and taking it around houses!!!
  7. I got caught on the post office ATM on Forest Hill Road. Card retained once I had keyed in the pin and chosen how much money I wanted. I stayed 15 mins and then went home. Didn't think to cancel my card until the morning when ?800 had gone from my account. HSBC refunded me the money but I think it should be more widely known about this scam. Banks are considered the victims by the police. It is an old scam according to the police. If banks are losing that much money they should really make it clear that if anything like this happens then the first thing to do is cancel you card and call the police. Better be safe rather than sorry. I personally felt quite intimidated as it happened at 10 0 clock at night and the scammers must have been watching me from their car while I waited 15 mins. Then as soon as the coast was clear they retrieved my card and money and went straight to the co-op next door to start spending. They continued early in the morning till I cancelled the card.
  8. Hello. I found an iPod in Goose Green Children's Park last week. This is the first chance I have had to post it.

The screene is cracked so I presume that the iPod must have fallen out of someone's handbag. If anyone has lost an iPod or knows of anyone who has lost an iPod last week in Goose Green Park please contact me via email. If you have the correct password to the iPod then I will know it is yours and if you give a description of the screene saver.
