  1. I work with the homeless and the disadvantage and I'm afraid this kind of thing is a fact of life. Obviously the bourgeoisie, entitled of ED are unaware of how the other half live. There are going to be far more people thrown into this situation by no fault of their by end of this crisis. So sorry to hear you were spooked and unsettled SnakeFilth by someone minding their own business, trying to take some shelter in the comfort of his own car. May I suggest you take a different route so you are not spooked and unsettled. Put yourself in their shoes because I for one know if I was in that situation I would be spooked and unsettled. If you are not able to offer this person some practical help and support, I suggest you leave them well alone before they are hounded from this location.
  2. Hi

I went to see him Christmas morning and take a parcel. Apparently when he came back Christmas eve he found his shelter had been on fire. The fire brigade attended and put out the fire, but all his belongings and bedding were either burnt or wet. Not sure whether it was done maliciously or by him accidentally, as he does smoke. His shelter is now exposed to the elements and the space is a mess. While I was there a couple arrived who seem to look after him. They were taking him to their home for Christmas dinner. Another person arrived with a chocolate Christmas log. Is there any handymen out there who could help him rebuild his shelter and provide tarpaulin? He also needs clothes and bedding.

  4. I would advice anyone looking for a handyman not to employ an Eastern European guy called Dan Tel: 07477 626488 (changes numbers all the time). He was paid for job that he did not complete. The job was 2/3 days straight forward simple work, which took over 3 weeks and is not finished. He is totally unreliable, disorganised, comes without the right tools and materials, buys the wrong materials for the job, shoddy work, bad time keeping, doesn't come when promised, drinks on the job. I could go on .... I would not recommend, very unprofessional, will probably change his name now.
  5. Does anyone know of a shed/fence company to take down existing shed,provide/build new shed, replace fence panel, complete job including materials. Existing shed build onto side of pergola so on site, so on site quote and measuring required.
