old gym +30kg dumbells or new gym -30kg dumbells? I'm just happy there's a decent freeweight bench and some mirrors to check form, better air con and lighting, no horrid carpet. An improvement indeed. All in all, pros outweigh the cons.

Oh James, is the dulwich gym planning to increase opening times at the weekend? 6pm closure is rather early! Oh any news on camberwell gym?

There are two new benches, one free weight, the other a smith machine. Both have a considerable amount of weight to use. So I doubt the lack of free weights will deter the 'grunters' . Besides what's the problem, I've trained with such characters, they not only motivate, but are friendly people, and women who think they solely go to these gyms to ogle them, are pretty self absorbed really. Just stand up for yourself and use the stuff God dammit. You can?t bubble wrap society.

I'm not sure the majority of east dulwich could fit into a single M&S or waitrose on a typical saturday. you'd need about 2 or 3 at least

I?m a tad indifferent to the feeling of jubilation. The whole eye for an eye mentality never actually resolves the situation, it just creates more resentment, and an excuse for idiotic terrorists to act on impulse. I imagine his death doesn?t affect the operations for the majority of these splinter groups anyway. This whole jihad thing is a movement, constantly radicalising new recruits. You can?t physically kill a movement. Its not like the F&$%ing body snatchers, kill the head of the clan and then expect everybody else to resume normal behaviour.

Jaflong is by far the best on price and quality. It's never swimming in ghee, and the portions are generous, chilled atmosphere and the customer service is great. I haven't ventured into veer zera yet, any thoughts?
