AS the owner of a bed company - Purelybeds.co.uk - I've heard about this scam. These beds are made in large numbers for around ?50-a-piece especially to be sold door-to-door. They will often say the RRP is ?400 but you can buy them for ?150 etc. Up in Yorkshire at the moment there's a massive door-to-door scam going on. The beds are cheaply made for around ?70 - ?80 and are being sold as memory foam beds worth RRP ?700-800, the salesman says he'll sell it to you for ?300. Be careful!!
