Advice on fostering (into adopting)?
iaietta replied to iaietta's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Thank you so much, and thank to all those who contacted me privately. Really helpful. Yes, I am aware of the difficulties but am really determined to start this as soon as possible. Any further advice much appreciated -
Hello, I am a single mum of a 4 and 1/2 yo boy. I have always wanted to have more children and am now seriously thinking about fostering into adopting. I spoke both to the council and to a private agency. Both seem happy to consider me when my divorce arrangements have been finalised and if these comply with their requirements. The only concern may be the fact that I run a business, although there could be ways to juggle with a job. I was wondering if anyone has had relevant experiences and could give me thoughts? Many thanks

Hello all, Could you kindly help me spread this post on FaceBook or any other local forums? I was at Goose Green playground today and found a set of keys on a bench. It was around 4pm. I could not reach a police station by foot and they told me on the phone that no one was available to collect in the area. They are now with me, the police has my address and phone number in case anyone claims them. Please spread as much as you can!

I second lightweight. The screen printing and spin painting parties by COTR are a real hit. It is amazing how much excitement they can create, just try and you'll see!

Hello, Would anyone be able to recommend a good family solicitor that doesn't cost the Earth? Many thanks

Agree with the above. Lou is absolutely lovely and his spin painting and t-shirt printing so exciting for children! Ours had a fab time for their parties. You can see some examples here: http://www.capturedontherye.com Cannot recommend enough :-)

Any body know a good piano teacher for a 13 year old.
iaietta replied to mpd's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello, You should definitively try SE22 Piano: http://www.se22piano.co.uk They are very popular, probably the most popular in the area. I know Lorraine, she is real passionate about her teaching and music events. You may have noticed the Dulwich Music Festival and the many recitals she organises in the area. Worth giving a look at her FBook page, as well: https://www.facebook.com/SE22PianoSchool Hope this helps -
buggy advice - I need a narrow one that's easy to fold

Try MacLaren VOLO. It's ultra-light and has a strap to carry it like a shoulder bag. Happy to show you mine!
