  1. Hello There

Myself and my friend are looking for an OFSTED registered, part-time nanny to look after our children for 3 to 4 days a week. It would be a September start, 10 hours a day and term time only. We are looking for a competent, fun, professional who is confident caring for two baby boys during the day - a 1 year old and a 10 month old plus a school drop off/pick up for a 7 year old. The school is a ten minute walk away.

If this is something you think could work for you please get in touch.

    Many Thanks

  2. Do you have a sewing machine hidden in a cupboard? Not sure how to use it? Or is learning to sew something you have always thought about doing?

With or without a sewing machine I offer small group sewing workshops. Please check out my flyers if interested.

I have worked for ten years in the Fashion Industry, started a business creating children's wear on maternity leave and would love to collaborate, network and share my skills with anyone with an interest in learning basic sewing techniques.

I currently offer three main courses but introducing a 'Basic A-line Skirt' Workshop.

Please get in touch with any questions, convenient dates for you or suggestions on specific projects you may wish to work on

    Thanks for your time!

  3. Looking for something to do this Saturday morning?!!

Kick start your weekend by doing something creative, expand or develop a new skill.

Have a sewing machine tucked away in the back of your cupboard? Not sure how to use it? Let me guess... don't have time to or don't want to read the manual?

I can address any issues, help teach the basics of 'getting to know your sewing machine' and promise you will leave feeling empowered and inspired having learnt loads of tips and how to make something beautiful!

I welcome people to bring their own sewing machines at 10 am to set up. It?s not a requirement to bring fabrics or machines as all equipment is available and supplied. You don't need to own a machine, just have an interest.

A session lasts around three hours and focus?s on one particular garment. We work with children?s wear patterns but the techniques can be applied to any clothing. Workshops are packed with tips and advice from absolute beginner level to trying something new for more experienced sewists. Class sizes are limited to just five people. All taught in a relaxed environment and style, so there?s no pressure or need to be nervous!

I have spent a decade working throughout the Fashion Industry and now run a business making and selling children?s clothing. I saw an opportunity to help inspire and pass on my experience through starting sewing workshops last November. I hope to bring people together to network as well as learn, develop your skills or just taking some time for yourselves!

Please get in touch about up coming workshops if this sounds like something you would like to do!

    Many Thanks

  6. I offer private and group sewing workshops starting from beginner level.

Available for baby showers, Nct groups or individuals with an interest in making baby basics for their child or family/friends little one's.

There are two workshops available on Saturday the 9th and 16th January with six places per group. These are being held at The dish and Spoon from 10am till 1. Those who struggle with childcare are welcome to bring young children as there is a lovely play area but childcare is not provided.

First session is 'An Introduction to Sewing', where you will learn tips, equipment is all provided and you get to take home a beautifully made bandana bib scarf.

Please contact me for booking a place and any questions.

If you are interested in private tuition or group bookings and the above dates do not suit please also contact me as I will try to accommodate everyone's needs.

    Many Thanks and Merry Christmas
