Hi you could try ecofurb.
They cover London and can provide advice based on an assessment and survey of your home.
They can also advise on phasing of measures.

The Open House tours went really well over the weekend and we had over 160 people shown around the estate.
That was the last time I'll be involved in the tours as we are now selling our 3 bedroom flat after 8 great years there.

I am an Architect with interest retrofitting. This is this technical terms used to describe the upgrading of our homes fabric to create warmer more comfortable homes.
The main issue you and the others have touched on is the breathability of your property. As older properties were designed to require significant ventilation and also not to deal with modern sources of humidity such showers and kitchen appliances.
We are offering a reduced price consultation service at the moment in partnership with Key Homes ( links below). Where we come and survey a clients property and in partnership with the home owner create a bespoke retrofit plan that can be stage over a number of years. We advice on insulation, ventilation and heating strategies along with other issues such as planning and building control.

Good Afternoon,
My name is James Rixon and I am director of a local Architecture practice rixon architecture. We specialise in low carbon and sustainable design with a particular interest in retrofit.
Am really please to hear this being discussed as a topic, I have actually just responded to someone on a separate thread about internal wall insulation which I have copies below.
My current understanding is that yes you can heat your home with a heat pump, and there is a chance you may have to change your radiators due to output size. it will likely cost 10-16k to install and even though they are extremely efficient in terms of units of heat out compared to units of energy in you will end up paying more for your heating without additional measures due the cost difference between gas and electricity.
A few tips on internal wall insulation:
make sure all wall papers and substrates are removed before installation as these could encourage mould growth.
Consider ventilation improvements.
Think about junctions with wall, floor, ceilings and windows as there is a risk of creating an acute cold bridge.
Consider vapour permeable insulations to limit moisture getting trapped against the cold outer wall
and applying brick cream to the external wall which limits the adsorption externally
look at natural materials as carbon saving can be made not just in the operation of a building but also with that materials used.
We are currently developing tailored reports for clients for a reduced fee starting at ?200. This would include a site visit, and visual survey and then go on to outline an appropriate retrofit plan along with advice on how to approach this in stages. They are carrying out repair works to the brickwork and put new roof coverings and insulation on. (And putting up a large version of pigeon spikes to protect against the dinosaurs)

I've just had John McCann plaster the ceilings through my property and also the kitchen walls. His work was excellent and he was knowledgeable, friendly and easy to communicate with. Aaron came for a day to help with the bigger ceiling and he was also great.
I would definitely recommend them both.

You should perhaps continue the conversation and possibly explaining that 'supply and demand' isn't currently solving the issue with housing.
What should be carefully understood as simple business economics rather than a conspiracy is that it is in the interest of landowners to restrict the supply of housing to maximise profit. This can be discussed at many different points in the supply chain and from the macro to micro scales of development.
But maybe you are right that discussion and understanding would be tiresome so maybe just win the conversation from the beginning with an ill informed sweeping statement.

This is a terrible thing that has happened, however it may be helpful not to focus on the role of building control department quite so much, especially without knowing the full set of facts and defects of the development.
Whilst the duty of the building control is to approve particular aspects of a development, it is difficult to hold them to account if they have been lied to or misled. This may be the case but as yet I don't think we know the full facts.
