  4. Hello forum members, We'd like to hear from you to get your feedback on a new public service, called Joint Effort Joint Effort supports families to live well. The service is developed by Participle (a not-for-profit organisation in Southwark), based on what we've learned from conversations with people from this forum, as well as input from professionals. Getting involved We are running free sessions this week (20 - 24th) February to test an early version Joint Effort. During a one hour conversation, we'll talk about practical approaches to find out what might work for you and your family. If you take part, you also help us to further develop this service. Please contact Jonas if you want to take part as soon as possible. Taking part is free. Everything you tell us will be treated as confidential and none of your personal information will be shared with any other organisations. Equally, if you know someone or a group of people who might be interested, please pass this message on and see if they?d like to take part. For more information on the project and taking part check out Joint Effort, alternatively please contact: Jonas Piet, [email protected], 020 7089 6952, www.participle.net Participle is a social enterprise that works with ordinary people to create new kinds of solutions to issues including health, employment and ageing. 6. We'd like to speak with you! Hello forum members. Southwark-based social enterprise Participle are looking to speak with people who have lived with a chronic condition for at least two years. If you have COPD, Hypertension, Coronary Heart Disease or Multiple Sclerosis then we would especially like to hear from you. What?s happening? We are at the beginning of a process to design new kinds of support for people with chronic conditions in Southwark, which includes their friends and family. We want to hear from ordinary people to ensure we design something that will really make a difference in people?s lives. We are not the NHS and we are not trying to find out your opinions of NHS services. This is an opportunity to say what you really feel about living well and the kinds of support that could support this. Getting involved We are interested in your day-to-day life and the people around you. That is why we would like to meet you together with your friends or family members. You can decide together who you would like to bring along and apart from the researchers, you won?t need to meet anyone you don?t know. We are meeting people between Monday 26th September and Friday 7th October and our places are limited. If you would like to take part, please contact Kate as soon as possible. The conversations will take about 1 hour 30 minutes and we offer a gift of ?25 as a thank you for taking part. Everything you tell us about will be treated as confidential and none of your personal information will be passed on to any other organisations. Equally if you know someone who might be interested, please pass this message on and see if they?d like to take part. For more information on the project and taking part, please contact: Kate Burn, [email protected], 020 7089 6950, www.participle.net Participle is a social enterprise that works with people to create new kinds of solutions to issues including health, employment and ageing. We work in partnership with local government and local agencies but we are independent.
