  1. Gerry was very quick to get to us to look at our broken boiler (which appeared to keep breaking down even after it had been put back to life several times...) and would not stop until a complete fix had been identified! Even with a super troublesome boiler.

All other plumbers said they?d be out the afternoon of the following day - if that - whereas Gerry called me within minutes and came out to see me first thing. His communication was excellent throughout and pricing was very fair.

I would highly recommend him (and I don?t often put recommendations on the forum...) Give him a go first! 07872 303925

  2. I've had a disappointingly installed flat roof, which leaked after only a year..

Dave and colleague were quick to come to look at it, diagnose the issue and assess what needed doing (which wasn't to completely re-do the roof!), and bustle back to fix it. This was all in a matter of days - and not months... They've previously re-done my guttering, too.

All was fairly priced and very well-executed. Most importantly for me, there's clearly real pride taken in their work.

    I would recommend them highly.

  3. The amount of childcare and cost (to you) is irrelevant. He is legally required to pay maintenance at the government rate. (As is surely correct - because the cost of raising children are not limited to the expense of their childcare...)

However the amount of maintenance he needs to pay will be proportionately reduced according to the number of nights the children spend at his. The amount will also be reduced if he goes on to have any further children, and even if (although this is controversial, i think it is still the case) he starts living with a new partner who has children...

Do get legal advice on your position. Best of luck with sorting everything out!

  4. I am a local mummy to a 2.5 year old, and very friendly, toddler. I work four days a week, but I would be really keen to meet up with some mummies/daddies on my day off (which is a Wednesday.) It would just be lovely to get to know more parents in ED!

Any takers? or any suggestions for things my little one and I can do mid-week?

    Thank you!
