Thanks for the advice .I did call Celia Hammond today and they are very busy at the moment and am waiting for a call back but in the meantime I thought I would see if I could find out who the owner was first . Thank you , I will try this if I can pick the cat up at some point if they let me if all else fails .

Is there anyone who can help to scan a cat that keeps coming into our garden and is very hungry to see if it has a microchip ,to try and trace it's owner ?

I'm not on the WhatsApp group ,and he only appears every now and again but does look like he's needs a good home and is not neutered. -
Unfortunately I can't get near him as he's quite scared and my cat doesn't like him. I will see if he is more friendly if he's around when my cat isn't in the garden ,I was just hoping someone might know if he has an owner or where he's come from .

He has been around for a few months now and looks so sad and unhappy ,he is coming into the gardens at the top end of Upland and Dunstans Roads .Just wondered if he is owned as he is not neutered and keeps getting into fights with cats .

You could take him to a vet to see if he is microchipped to find out if he has an owner . -
I have considered this but he doesn't come into the garden on a regular basis so it's difficult to leave a trap out ,but wanted to find out if anyone knew him because of the way he was breathing . -
Thanks for the offer of scanning but he is always far enough away from me so he doesn't let me touch him but if he gets more friendly I will contact you for help scanning. I'm also not on the streets WhatsApp or facebook groups so if anyone could repost the picture of this cat on these groups would be helpful .

This cat has been coming to our garden recently and today he came round and I'm concerned as his breathing seems erratic where the sides of his chest are being sucked in more than they should when he takes a breath and think he needs a vet to look at him .He won't let me near him to touch him and wondered if anyone knew who owned him . We are at the top end of Upland Road .

I think what would help is if people that had drives actually used them so they don't take up valuable street parking for everyone who doesn't have that luxury.
