  1. Hi, Milk or bf always helped.when we had short flights i usedto bf my girl and she would fall asleap.if milk comforts stock some extra, also she refused to eat on the holidays - very sadly and survived on milk- each country even same brand has different taste ,so take more if you like only formula. we did long 11h one and she wouldnt sleep regardless many attempts.i also used ipad on a 7h bus journey- not proud but i would consider now dvd in car ,smth I resented for very long ( and still woundt allow on shorter journey). We were also looking at inflight magazines ,she knew all characters.favourite toys could help.smth i would aleays remeber- we put somemcartoon on the monitors, headphones needed ,but she would take them off and shout 5min to the tv-sing ,sing, sing .:)in general don't worry ,this is the easiest part of the holiday.have fun

  10. There are different massage techniques you can look on youtube, hot shower before expressing(but I am sure if you are home you would breastfeed,so not an option for your busy day),breastfeeding during the night 2am-6am would help ,as this is when the supply rebuilds (again you must be really exhausted ,but some people find it easy to sleep while bf,so do it only if you have energy left as tiredness could also reduce supply).I would sent you link with I tea I was drinking but I found so many other recipes on line to boost milk that I don't know what worked.Generally rest ,good food and plenty of drink are best solution .Supply establishes week 4-6 after birth . Afterwords you could increase and decrease supply by putting baby as often as possible on breast.Hope that helps, but be gentle to yourself.
  11. Thank you very much for replaying .I think the best solution I found lately is to get to bed when my girl is tired, which happens later than I wish, but at least we spend 5-10 min( I turn to the other side and browse pinterest and then she is asleep. We still try to keep same time for bed ,but it's 30-60 min later .
  12. We recently ended up co-sleeping(partially in the past) and I don't min it,we really like it,but only problem is bed time.Lunch time(everyday now) and in the past in the evening our daughter would fell asleep on her own with a bottle of milk in the cot.Now she would climb in our bed and we would need to stay with her until she is asleep. Any ideas about bedtime so we don't spent 30-60min in the bed with her?
  13. Well it is different diet ,although similar its called lemon detox diet( so main purpose is cleansing and weight loss is a bonus).I think it should be easier as you drink Medal Bal( type of maple syrup ,but less process than one in shops..and much more expensive).YOu can try beginners fast for 5-7 days twice a year or more relax on where you supplement and have a drink instead of meal.I would start that next months,if anyone tries that earlier ,please advice, but results should be good weight wise, skin and general well being.
  14. Not sure if I need to ask the question, but last time I owned a bike was when I was a child, apart from 1 day ownership (ended with bike being stolen),so I am unsure what to look for.I would like to buy one(used preferred) ,but would like to use it with a child bike trailer and child bike seat carrier .Is there any type of bike I should avoid or which bikes are best for the purpose ?Many Thanks
  15. We have been researching lightly some alternative or more holistic education systems. We really want more old school childhood, good academic result in school and happy, content adult with great personality and morale. I am quit lost. Really like 50% or more of each education system. Guess we would need to mix and match what is suitable for us at home, but what should we do education wise? I got lost in the on-line information and would like to read something more systemised with practical advices-could you please recommend some books? Also we are open to any of the systems. More info on stages beyond nursery is welcome, as it is hard to find as detailed info on primary and secondary education? Is it good till certain age-there are many more nurseries that school, so just guessing reasons behind that? We really want child to be surrounded by children with like minded parents, who don?t like the atmosphere in schools these days and would work with child and personnel to build better environment. I guess I sound a little confused in that post, but it?s so hard to make choices that are the best for your child. Many thanks.
  16. Can you help us with advices on a shops that do car seat fitting service.WE would ideally get 1-2-3 stage car seat ,but would like to check if it fits our car first. While we still used our first car seat ,we bough a new car and the belt was much tighter than our previous one ,so it make sense now to fit few seats and see which one fits best, more over we will use it for years. Many thanks
  17. Thank you all for the replays.I was really looking into softer alternative of the Tripp Trapp and yes its stylish but i am still not sure if it's comfortable.Big thank you to all that adviced
  18. Hi, We have been given Stokke but although stylish it looks really uncomfortable to me( and I find the accessories overpriced-you can buy a new one for the price of a cushion and a tray). We will keep it ,but I am looking for a new cosy one.I had a look but there are too many to choose from? What about Chicco ?Please help with some advice. Many thanks
  19. I am now following 5k NHS program .It takes you gradually to running 30min or 5km in 9 weeks.I am into week 7( continues run for 25 min.I have no problem completing the run, although I had a c-section(but waited 3.5 months to start). Initially when the runs were shorter I run with the pram ,but the last two runs I did on my own.I hate running ,but I know its the best cardio to lose weight and to warm up for other exercise.(planning to add around week 11-12 some interval training free app I have on my phone-I think they are quick and give great results -I just can't spent 2h to go to the gym ,do a class and get back)).I am trying to be sensible with what I eat ,but not following any strict diet as I am aiming for gradual weight loss rather than quick weight loss .I am worried that if I loose weight quickly my skin wouldn't be able to recover(mother's apron etc) and this worries me more than the weight loss-as I know that weight loss is achievable once you work on that.Does anyone now how to improve skin elasticity and help with any advice how to take care and not end up with excessive skin lol. Thanks
  20. Thank you.All threads sound very interesting .Glad I have started this topic.I will follow and check what can fit in my free time.
