  1. Hi,

I am looking for some advice please. Our 4 year old is refusing bed time pull pants (older boy pull nappies)understandably as he wants to be a big boy but is such a heavy sleeper he doesn't wake up when needing the toilet.

We have the absorbant mats which we put under sheets etc but the extra washing doesn't bother me, he wakes up quite distressed that he hasn't woken up for the toilet bless him

    Any similar experiences or advice??

    Thanks so much in advance

  2. Hi,

Would love to hear some advice/ suggestions for help with school run! My husband and I work full time and while we can do some drop off and picks ups we are looking for help with taking our son to/from school and a bit of after care. Has anyone had a similar challenge? Are there agencies, people locally who can support with this type of work?

    Thanks so much in advance

  3. Hello nannies and child minders of ED,

On Friday 10 July this year I shall be getting married in kent. We have a son who will be 2 years and 8 months and who will be attending the day reception and a little of the evening party. We have child minders booked to provide support during the day but we are looking for an experienced nanny or child minder to support us in days leading up to the wedding, day and eve of the wedding.

We want to get the ball rolling now so our son is very familiar with who looks after him, builds a bond and rapport, trust and feel very safe and comfortable with who looks after him.

Please Pm me if you feel you can support us.

    Best wishes

  5. Hi all, thanks for your thoughts, ITs appreciated. It's v early days but like you echo we have a very active don who just dies not want to miss out on anything, even though he us almost asleep standing up!

Unfortunately we can't do the gro bag, he loves to walk and he will try and climb even with it on. He tried to climb out of the fit with it on and could escape the got in seconds with no gro bag, hence the move!

  6. Hi,

I am looking for someone to help in our garden. It is currently all paved and covered mostly by huge raised beds made out of old railway bunkers. We are looking to remove one of the bunkers and tidy up, mend the others. Plus probably a few other bits.

If this is something you think you can help with, please PM me

    Thanks in advance!

  7. Hi Pickle,

This is really helpful - wow well done you, I'm a little about just this one flight! A good point about the milk, I've thinking how I will manage this. Great tips about the activities too. We are going to purchase an Ipad - thank goodness for In the night garden and Toy Story! I have a couple of sticker books and I like the sound of the aqua doodle.

Thanks again, it's really appreciated x

The Cambridge Belfry Hotel is a hotel outside of cambridge but there is a bus which runs into the centre of town. The staff here are so helpful and very friendly. There is lots of space and we were given a large room on the ground floor with plenty of space for a cot, pram and everything else!

They have a pool, no baby pool but really the best thing is the staff.
