Hi, I am moving to to Dulwich in the next couple of months and from September will be looking for after school childcare for my 5 year old son. I have been living abroad for 6 years so am totally clueless as to the going hourly/weekly rate and any guidance you can offer would be really appreciated. I will also be looking for occasional evening babysitting and am curious as to what I can expect to pay - here in NY its an hourly rate of $15-20 an hour, plus tip, plus cab fare home....makes for an expensive night out and I'm hoping it may not be quite as bad at home!
