Strange bottles full of orange liquid

It is probably oil from someone's chip pan or something, I've seen loads of people just pour their used oil into bottles so that they don't have flush it down their drain and cause a blockage. I wouldn't be surprised if someone was just doing that and leaving the bottles out as they're not entirely sure how to dispose of them.
