I have been reading a lot about Heber primary school. As we are looking to buy a house in Dulwich , I checked the Ofsted report for Heber ... it says it requires some improvement! Am I looking at the wrong Heber school??

Hello, I'm just planning ahead and so confused! My daughter goes to a private nursery right now. She will eligible for the 15 free hours starting September'15 ( she will be 3 years old in May 2015). My question is what do you after this ? Would she need to go to a school nursery ? When do the applications start ? I read on a website that it's your choice to send them at 4 years old or 5! I would obviously prefer her going from her private nursery into a school nursery / reception. I basically would like to know what happens next! Also the school nursery/reception what ever it is next would that be a full school day ?

Silly woman- grannies are there to love cherish and spoil :) I don't expect her to in her age go to playgroups!! I am grateful enough she will be looking after my daughter - as if that and the cooking/ cleaning/ shopping/ picking up and dropping to nursery etc isn't enough for her!!! I'm sure she will but the fact that I have gotten a nursery space at mother goose is amazing news!! -

I've had an offer from mother goose so I'm going to say yes! I spoke to oak tree but was told it was dependant on the waiting list. I'd rather stick to a nursery that has the offer as I know mother goose waiting list is very LO too!! -

Question on microwave sterilisers
DulwichEastMum replied to Katiesa's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Suprised the tommee tipee one won't fit! I have that one at my mums and her microwave is small and it fits! If nothing else you can always do cold water sterilising with Milton tablets ? -

I would drop her naps at home. She probably naps in nursery as everyone else does! If you drop the nap at home get her to bath , put her pjs on have dinner. Read a book you have mentioned she does not like quiet time maybe try animating your voice?? Put the lights down low and slowly turn the lights off! Warm milk should help to before bed :) It's jus a routine she needs to get into so start at 6pm with bath, pj, dinner, read and tuck into bed! By 8pm she will be in bed. It will take time but she will fall asleep after a few attempts x

Also due to my lack of knowledge of the area can anyone recommend nursery for her? i will be returning to work in may and i would like to find a good nursery for my baby girl to go to. It will be a full time nursery! i am not looking for nannys or childminders as i live in a joint family system and would prefer my daughter not to be look aftered by them. Kindest regards! Uzma
