Wild Harvest runs courses and forays to teach people about wild foods - clients learn to recognise, collect, prepare, preserve and cook wild plants, mushrooms from the countryside and edibles from the seashore. Our ethos here is not about survival but rather about the celebration and love of food; please do visit our website at www.wild-harvest.co.uk. We will be running 3 fungus forays soon - 2nd September, 16th September and 22nd September. As the event title suggest, these will focus on edible wild mushrooms, lasting from 2pm to 5pm; the cost is ?48 per person which includes a kilner jar of dried Porcini.
