Does anyone have any recommendations for counselling or self esteem/resilience/anger management workshops for children.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my post, its really good to hear other peoples experiences and know that its not just my daughter doing this, we dont know anyone directly who has such problems so to know other toddlers have done the same is really reassuring. I don't know what the answer is but I feel a bit less desperate just reading your posts! Thanks again x

I am totally at my wits end with my 2 year old's sleeping and want to try to get some professional help, does anyone know if there are things your gp can do, places they can refer you? Also I don't know what would they would consider normal and what would be taken seriously as a sleep disorder, my daughter goes to bed fine between 7/7.30 but then 70% of the time wakes at some point past 12 for 2-4 hours then gets up anywhere between 5-6 regardless. This has been going on since last summer and I feel we have tried everything and am starting to go a bit mad with the sleep deprivation. Any advice much appreciated.

Rivoli ballroom new years eve party Honor oak has people of all ages and is great fun. Hard to buy tickets though you have to go there in person and its only open at random times. -
Great thanks for the help, lots of ideas.

Can anyone recommend playgroups or cheap activities that go on in the afternoon, everything seems to be in the morning and we are a bit slow getting going! Also is it possible to download somewhere weekly activities for local children's centres, I've seen this for Lewisham and it's really handy but haven't been able to find for Southwark. Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the advice, good to know it's not just me even if there's no easy answer! I don't think she's hungry as she's being really difficult about feeding at the minute too which does tie in with the wonder week thing...has been 3 weeks already though so not sure if week is a loose term! Roll on sleeping through...

My 5 month old used to wake once a night but for the last 3 weeks has been waking anything up to 6 times a night. I'm totally dysfunctional after 3 weeks of it, does anyone have any similar experience or tips on how I might nip this in the bud...
