If you cut through the bike trail, across greendale playing field(near sainsburys) and follow that through to the end, it'll take you behind Bessemer, so when you reach the end, turn right and walk for 30 secs and you'l see a little alleyway which leads straight to Bessemer school. Hope this helps

James, Can you provide the figures, showing how many children travel outside the borough to schools please. I am finding the alternative source, from the department for education rather difficult.
