Section between Barry Road and Crystal Palace Road

Around 12.30 today a guy came up the drive and then went up a number of neighbouring drives. When challenged he walked away saying he was looking at the Campervans.
Suspiciously it was a few minutes after a delivery driver had dropped packages off to a few properties.
Can't draw a link between the two events but if you were expecting a parcel that didn't arrive then it could be one possible explication.

For general services we use Jack's Garage at Ladbroke Grove (sorry not really local)
For body work we use a guy called John who used to be the panel beater at Jack's Garage and we can dm you his number if needed
Hope that helps

Volkspares went years ago😥

There was
It was called East Dulwich Campers but I think they have gone.
Turners can do some basic work as they took on one of the mechanics or failing that a bit further out is Jacks Garage in west London who specialise in VW campers
If its body work drop me a pm and I'll send you contact details for the panel beater we use who used to work for Jacks Garage.

This is a QR code to your video, if it helps then all you would have to do is add it to an a4 or a5 sheet that you could then print out and ask businesses to share or display on their stalls or shop windows.

What a great showcase.
Have you considered asking the businesses on North Cross Road to put a QR code up to direct out of area visitors to it?

The advice we received concerning e10 and older or classic vehicles is that you can use super unleaded petrol (or similar) as it is still going to be e5.

Thank you Seabag for highlighting that my lovely yellow Campervan, that was imported from Australia hence her name, is called "Sunny"
I also have other Campervans for rent, each with their own unique name, and this glorious weather is just fabulous for a staycation Campervan holiday.
Not sure this was the right thread for you to do some marketing for my business? But thank you none the less.

Hi ebeb2
As Seabag so elegantly mentioned, this thread is 5 years old and didn't get enough interest at the time.
Happy to revisit the idea if others are interested but obviously with lockdown, meetups will be impossible but nothing to stop online / virtual discussions.

We have attached a copy of our colour in, cut out and make campervan for people to download and do to help keep children and parent's sane during the covid pandemic. (Adults can of course make one too)
All you need is a printer. If you have thin printer card for printing it on even better but normal paper works fine.
Admin, please don't move this to the business section as it isn't a business related post, we just want to assist anyone looking for things to do to amuse their children.

Hello
We don't have anything at the moment but possibly will have a part time opportunity in a month or so
What's your general experience and what are you looking for ?
-
Hello huggers
Can you post the image so that we can see if we know the owner ?
Many thanks

Hello Brulysses
Have you had a look at our website (www.dubdubandaway.com) to check availability?
We are based in East Dulwich and have 4 classic campers for rent.

So sorry to hear that your lovely early bay camper has been stolen, hopefully you will recover it quickly
If there is anything we can do to help then please reach out to us

Thanks PandG, an early bay very nice!
In answer to hour question this was on the general ed section before admin moved it here so not tempting fate again 😊

I have spoken in person with a couple of people who are interested.
Would be good to get a few more names on the list

East Dulwich seems to have a large number of VW campervan and Beatle owners and with ourselves and East Dulwich Campers being in the area it has struck me that maybe there is benefit in forming a VW owners club for East Dulwich.
The idea would be to meet periodically (say every 4 ? 6 weeks) in a local pub or other venue, share knowledge, show our vehicles off, ask questions and where possible look at getting discounts on parts and other things related to owning and driving a VW.
Open to ideas and suggestions on how to organise and run a club of this ilk, but thought it would be fun to meet and talk with other enthusiasts and to share knowledge where we can.
If you are interested then please either PM me directly or put a response on here and in a few weeks I will get back to anyone who responds with more details should people think it?s a good idea.

We couldn't agree more with the comments above about the boys at turners, I personally have been using them for many a year and their service and customer service is second to none
-
over 363 people turned up today, strangely a lot of them went to the micro brewery.
a great success and ollie is already talking about another one next year
we had a great time and met loads of interesting people, well done to everyone involved.

in support of East Dulwich Campers, Dub Dub and Away will be at the event with at least one of our early bay campers on display where you can ask questions about hiring a campervan for next year.
in addition we are also launching our early bird booking offer at the event.
looking forward to seeing people there

I was informed that Ginger arrived home safe and well overnight last night.
TWB, as Mystic Mog said Ginger is being well looked after by his owner and the Neighbour hood vet and is old with arthritis so please don't just capture him and whisk him off without talking to his owner first.
