My daughter has managed to lose her Nokia today around Peckham Rye Park. It's a good thing I haven't relented and bought her an iphone... She has asked at the cafe and park office with no success.

It is black with a cracked screen and covered in sparkly nail varnish. Getting it back would save me a painful hour in the vodafone shop - please help!

I can't remember ever hearing them screaming this much, or waking me up, and wondered if I was just a heavier sleeper in Springs gone by...

Have any other Underhill Road area dwellers been woken up several nights in a row with the MOST awful fox screaming? It has really shivered my timbers these last few days. The worst noise...

A couple of school age boys tried to take my bag from me yesterday morning (9.30am) at the top of St Aidan's Road. I was very lucky and the combination of my formerly hidden feral nature and a lovely lady who pulled over in her car meant that nothing was taken and I was completely unhurt.

I'd like to thank her and those that came out of their houses to see what all the screaming was about (and to apologise for my pretty horrendous swearing during the incident).

Although I am making light of the incident, I was very shaken up yesterday and it would have been a different story without intervention. I've lived here for years and yeards and while this was probably a one-off, I know I should make sure you all know to be careful.

I have reported it and was not on my phone at the time.

I'd like to recommend Finn to anyone that might need some work carried out at home. He has a huge variety of skills from simple problem-solving for DIY issues, to carrying out full painting projects. He's great at working through a list of tasks that I cannot do myself, as well as pointing out and fixing other items!
