I absolutely can do this, and this is the likelihood tbh, but by my calculations it will add a good 20 mins to my journey. The old school way, I reckon I could do it in 40-45 mins door to door if everything timed right. Now I am a good 10-12 min walk from Olympia, 10 mins to CJ, change, wait, 20-25 mins CJ to DH then a walk at this end... I'm sure I'll work it out, just a case of trial and error. Like Stephen, maybe a good reason not to work past 7 when I can possibly help it!

Thank you, will try this out.

Thank you Bic Basher, guess I'll just have to play around for the best options!

I am sadly one of those who have lost the Victoria connection. Going to work in the morning seems to be ok, as I can still get on the Kent trains, but the evening is a different story. Having done a bit of research it seems that once the last Kent train goes from Victoria through Denmark Hill at 19.39 I just can't get back that way. My alternative seems to be Olympia to CJ and then the ELL to DH (work in West Kensington), which I reckon is going to add a good 30 mins to my journey in the evening. Anybody got any thoughts?

So I have tried this for a couple of days and it isn't quite as bad as I thought. Definitely longer than my previous commute though.
Yesterday I went Denmark Hill to CJ which was fine but when I got there I was told there weren't any trains to Kensington Olympia and was made to go to Victora, which kind of defeated the point...
This morning was better although I was sat on the CJ to Olympia train for nearly 15 mins before it went anywhere. Guess I'll just need to play around with the timings so I have less changeover time. Bonus is that I have also realised I can actually get off at Brompton Road which is better.
Will persevere!
