I've got a big box full of electrical and electronic items to get rid of, but I can't get to a local recycling centre as I don't have my own transport and there's too much to carry. Can anyone suggest a charity or other service that may be able to pick them up?

Thanks. I'll check them out.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for someone who knows about sewing machines. I've recently aquired an old machine from a friend who has moved abroad, but I'm completely clueless about these things. I'm trying to find someone who can check it over to see if its working properly.
Any suggestions?

I have a vintage teddy bear that is in desperate need of restoration. It used to belong to my father so I think it is about 70 years old, and the poor thing has been so well loved that it has lost a lot of fur and stuffing. (photo attached)
Does anyone know anyone who does this sort of thing?

Thanks. I'll let you know!

Thanks for that. Will check them out.

There's also a nice one at the Herne Hill end of Croxted Road, right by the railway bridge.

Does anyone know anybody or any business locally for luggage repairs and jewellery repairs?

Thanks. I'll give him a try.

We're looking for someone local and reliable to do boiler repairs, who won't charge the earth for a call out fee, even if it is on a weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations?
