  1. I do not take offence at all, its a very sensible idea and I wont be holding my phone texting again, unless an emergency. I am also advising others to do the same. I hope they are caught too. also there are self defence classes around, which I have found and will be starting, it can feel vulnerable as a woman in cities so no bad thing to gain some confidence.
  2. none of these happened to me.....i was walking along texting and they came up in front of me, mounting the pavement on a motorbike, the passenger tried to grab it whilst i was holding it in my hand, i had a tight grip so he didnt get it, the driver kept the motorbike moving so they were failed in their attempt.
  3. watch out as there is a group of people targeting people on mobile phones to steal them. I was walking home from work and a motorbike pulled up in front of me and they tried to grab my phone. spoke to police and it has been happening a lot in the last 36 hours....be aware all you lovely east Dulwich people!!
  4. Hi all, I am looking for a good dentist who is good at dealing with extremely nervous patients, I have in the past had some panic attacks when at the dentist, I need to have a filling and am looking where I can go.
  5. I would like to recommend Mark, I had trouble with my laptop and he was so prompt on replying to my initial request for help on East Dulwich forum, he was ale to come round very quickly and did a thoroughly brilliant job and was so friendly as well, my computer later decided to freeze and Mark came back round and spent another few hours with my computer, unfreezing it and then checking it was all working properly, he even sat and waited for the computer to run through 62 updates to ensure it was ok, this was all on a bank holiday Monday. I would definitely be using mark again in the future.
  6. Am looking for someone to teach me some dance moves particularly african style as my husband is african and can dance so well and I would like to match him abit and to build my confidence too.
  7. I am writing as I run a charity based on Lordship Lane, called Nabasa Trust, we help and support orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda. We are having a charity event on Sat 6 December and I am looking for raffle prizes and I wondered if any shops or businesses would be able to donate something for us.

Please do check out our facebook page, it has all our up to date information on it.

    Kind regards

    Joanna Smith
