  1. Great, thank you for the tip. We've seen a nice place on one of the residential streets just south of Evelina Road (Kimberley Ave)- it appeals because it is close to transport and a few shops. I get the impression that the roads closer to Nunhead station are less desirable than those in the Ivydale Rd/Inverton Rd/Cheltenham Rd area?
  2. I took your advice and went to check out the Evelina Road area again and it looks really good. Am also going to see 2 houses in Ivydale Road/Inverton Road/Cheltenham Road area - thanks for all your help!

  4. Hi, I was hoping some of you locals might be able to help... Ideally I would love to buy a big flat/small house in East Dulwich or Peckham Rye but it's a bit too pricey so I've started looking in neighbouring areas - unfortunately I'm from West London and don't know these neighbourhoods too well at all. Am considering the roads to the East of Peckham Rye Common (Nunhead way) and also Queens Road area which is cheaper and seems like it could be a good investment option and better for transport but I know very little about the feel of Queens Road - how safe it is, what schools are like and whether it really is on the up? I'd be really grateful for any advice!
