The owner did live a ' highlife' his name was Woolf. He came from LA . He owned the apartment directly Above Flip. The 4 walls saw many debauched evenings when he was in town

I'm quite amazed that Flip remains in the memory Of so many. I use to work there part time and later Full time when I left school. I stood out a bit because I was a provincial 'soul boy/casual' from Greenhithe village now ( Bluewater )amongst these wonderful Eclectic staff which included rockabillies, boy George clones and the 501 , cowboy boot wearing crew. I think the staff were as memorable as the clothing. Charles,Patrick ,rick,roberto etc . I miss them all ....good times.
