For anyone who is looking for a photographer to take some quality pics of their family - babies, children and pets! - I would highly recommend getting in touch with Mina Milanovic. She is based in Richmond but happy to travel to East Dulwich and the surrounding areas.

We spent a lovely few hours with her at our house in Camberwell while she took photos of our 3 month old daughter. Mina is super friendly and extremely patient, joining me in the crazy dancing and gurning to coax some smiles out of the little one. She clearly has an affinity with children, as well as animals by the look of some of her other work! We were so pleased with the results and thrilled that she managed to capture Ellie's character so successfully with some stunning shots.

I want to recommend Dave Franklin and his team (Berdec decorators). They have just completed painting the outside of our house, front and back. They did a great job and we're able to undertake a few extra jobs at a very reasonable price, including replacing a small fence and some clever wood work to beautify our dodgy soffits. All the team were polite and hard working and kept disruption to a minimum. Weather however can't be helped but Dave was very good at keeping in touch and letting us know when to expect him.

My wife and I found Tony Pooley on the forum following other recommendations and we would also really recommend his excellent garden construction service. Tony renovated our little Camberwell terraced-house back garden this summer whilst we were on honeymoon, removing old wooden decking and laying lovely new slate paving, lowering the ground level to ensure better drainage, and landscaping the beds, turfing the new little lawn and generally giving our garden a smart makeover - we returned from honeymoon and everything was taken care of to a high, exceptional standard, and Tony was helpful, creative and thoughtful; and we love our new garden!

After reading recommendations on the forum, we had all our dodgy old sash windows either repaired and draught proofed or replaced by The Sash Guy. The price was very reasonable (?570/window for supplying and fitting new double glazed sash and ?180/window for draught proofing) and Guy was a pleasure to work with. We love our new windows!
