I wish I could come and help you first mate but with baby in tow would not be ideal! At least you have been able to see her and given her some water. I really hope the RSPCA get someone out to rescue her soon, what sort of people would leave a dog in these conditions! Perhaps she is stolen, hopefully she is microchipped. I'll check back on here later and hope to read that she has been rescued from these awful conditions.

Well off to bed now, will be worrying about that poor dog whilst mine are here tucked up in their beds. Hopefully the owners will be back soon and the dog calms down and you can get some sleep too!

Sounds like you have done all you can! Hopefully someone on here will know the owners of this poor dog but maybe not read this thread till the morning. Surely if it is separation anxiety though the owner would be aware how much their dog suffers and wouldn't leave them alone, so maybe it's not and something else is going on such as the dog crying for help as something has happened to the owner like an accident?!

Is the dog outside or in the house do you know? I hate to think of the dog outside in this weather! Did you say you tried knocking on the front door?

Sorry I can't be of any help but poor dog I really do hope everything is ok! Perhaps the owners have gone out and left the dog alone in the garden all evening and he/she is suffering terrible separation anxiety!

Thanks for you responses, I'll take a look at those books recommended online.

Hi, Can anyone recommend a parenting book for me please? My son is 1 years old and in the first year I was given several parenting books but the only one I found helpful was 'The Babysense Secret' by Megan Faure. I had a brief look online for recommendations but the choice was overwhelming! Many Thanks

I've got a babyzen yoyo, I can fold it in one hand whilst carrying my 1yr old and carry the buggy on my shoulder using the strap like a handbag. Plus when we flew we were able to take it onboard and put it in the overhead locker. It's lightweight, narrow and reclines. It's amazing!

Yes I remember! On 12/12/2007 the court granted a lifetime Anti- Social Behaviour Order that prohibits the defendant from keeping animals anywhere in England and Wales.

They are a local family in south London but not certain if from Dulwich. Apparently the little girl is doing well (came across a post about them on mums page on Facebook).

I recently bought a Babyzen Yoyo for this reason as I didn't want my main buggy to get damaged. It's tiny and can be folded with one hand whilst holding baby, we took it onto the plane and stored it in the overhead cabins. It's great as it means we can put him into it the minute we come off the plane.
