  1. No, it?s that it?s too similar to ?all lives matter?, a slogan associated with white supremacists and the alt-right, intended to dismiss and diminish the Black Lives Matter movement.

  2. Just to add to the above as today is the first day back in the gyms!

I?ve also trained with Lee for a number of years. He?s really helped me gain confidence in the gym working with the free weights section, and my baseline level of strength has really improved. Over lockdown we?ve done a lot of sessions online but I am really looking forward to getting back to our in person sessions! Over the years I?ve had some issues with my back and Lee has always been mindful of those injuries and has helped to work in a range of exercises to help me build core strength and strengthen the muscles which support my spine, which I really value. I?ve never felt like I am being pushed ?military style? to overload myself or get out ?just one more rep!?, he just gives me a lot of encouragement and positive words to help me with my goals. If you are looking for someone to help you put together a training plan, get you used to using new machines, weights or moves, or just to help you be more accountable, id reccomend working with him.

  3. Another vote for artusi (my birthday dinner of lockdown) - we had a delicious burrata with peas, cooked fresh pasta (4 mins in boiling water?) then drained and added the sauce as a stir through. For desert a delicious panna cotta and coulis with pistachio biscotti. It was wonderful, opened a nice bottle of red and said lots of ?oh yum?s. Excellent as the nights are getting warmer too - I hope they keep it up post lockdown!!
  4. We are having post delivered where blank envelopes appear to be cut or have been ripped among the top so the contents are no longer secure. This has happened 3 times since the ED post office closed, and never before. Nothing which has been opened has been confidential yet, but all could have been - plain white envelopes with a plastic window for name/address. The next time it happens I will be reporting to Royal Mail.
  5. I hadn't realized that, thank you for pointing it out! I am happy to get behind a local business. I agree with the post above ... this probably isn't the best Thai in London... but it is recognized as being good Thai. I've always enjoyed my meals there.
