Selling this bathroom suite which came from my gran's house in North Wales, it was removed when the house was refurbished a few years ago and has been kept in storage until now. It was made by 'Standard' in the 1940's, and the date 3/6/1941 is written on the back of the basin. There is also a letter 'R' and the word 'YORK'. 'Standard Made In England' is written on the inside of the cistern and there's also a number on the bottom on the inside of the cistern. The internal cistern pieces are believed to be original and made of ceramic. There's a hairline crack on the front left-hand side of the cistern next to the flush running from the top to the bottom - see photograph. I believe this could easily be repaired. The basin comes complete with the original taps, faucet, fittings, and plug which is also thought to be original. As well as the original toilet seat, bracket and connecting pipe. Apart from the crack and some corrosion on the taps, all parts are in good condition, particularly given it is a modern antique at 83 years old. Let me know if you would like to come take a look.
