It's true. Drivers will now have to travel as far as...about 150 feet to the huge Kwik-Fit across the road if they want to get tyres fitted.
Exactly!
for twice or triple the price no doubt!
not bad for convenience I guess…… 😜

This is one of the reasons why I have been in two minds about buying from private sellers!
im sure it’s not intentional but it’s one of those things, once in, it’ll be a nightmare to get out!
these little critters multiply like nobody’s business!
-
So I’m guessing it was from a private seller & not a shop?

I’m prepared to pay 110p
does it include delivery 🚚

Buses on diversion
my son was there. He said a car & bike…….

This really needs media attention!
the service is diabolical

Have you seen Harris primary East Dulwich!
they park however they feel to then you have the p13 buses fighting to get through
even the coach’s they hire for school trips have no consideration!
the block the bus stop so people cannot get on the bus safely……

Depending on how “broken” it is……
could you possibly check on YouTube if there’s a way you can fix it yourself?
just saying….. 😜

Did you get through and get an appointment?
Ok so….. I called 3 mornings last week.
tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
all at 8 am as stated by them.
Tuesday was about 1hr 41mins, second on Thursday 1hr 23mins on Friday 1hr 2mins.
Believe it or not they actually answered me on Friday!
only to tell me they had no appointments 🤔😒
they do this all the time, tell you to ring at 8am then when they decide to answer you…… they have no appointments left!
for the majority of us, it’s a waste of time!
anyway, I had a chest infection for almost a week, I called 111 on Friday & was given, what I understood to be one of two remaining appointments.
so yes I was seen, no thanks to the surgery itself!
https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/07751362/officers
ok so, if you check out the above you should see how & by whom the surgery is running!
its nothing more than a money maker, they have no plans to provide a service!
I struggle to understand exactly what the government are paying for!
on a serious level though, could we guys potentially come together & make a complaint?
im sure many others are prepared to come onboard to……
how about media attention?
we need to act fast, it’ll be a matter of time before they conveniently go bankrupt,
any opinions?
anyone prepared to take the lead?

I called the surgery on Tuesday morning.
I must’ve fallen asleep whilst waiting for them to answer.
when I woke up again, I checked my call record.
I had been on the call from 8am, for 1hr & 41mins!
and I still don’t know if they answered or not!
currently on another call to them, waiting for an answer……….
so far 37mins & waiting……….
will update shortly……. I expect to be cut off conveniently or appointments all gone for the day
lets see…..

Before you go ahead with your thoughts of metering being great as it will limit usage, maybe you need to think about Thames water fixing their leaks!
properly fixing the leaks in the first instance will avoid a lot of issues!

If your son wasn't using a Nectar card it may be worth checking that the 45p wasn't the Nectar price - I'm finding this whole dual pricing regime quite confusing. Which is probably what was intended!
I paid & did use my nectar card.
went in today & saw the price has now increased by 5p…..
-
My son picked up 3 cans today, marked as 45p on the shelf……
scanned at 50p!
checked after I got home 🤬

In the short term some of us will save money, in the long term it’ll end up just like the gas & electric currently is!
I am very much against the water meters & prefer to pay what I pay now!
it’s all a big con just like all the other charges we are forced to pay!
all they are looking for is someone to pay their self created debts!
whilst things are privatised, work will always be of a lower standard, if not they’ll all eventually be out of work.
think about it 🤔🤨

Spoke to a friend
they are seriously short staffed.
new contracts are shite no one stays on,
existing workers get asked to do overtime, everyone refuses as there’s no incentive!
doesn’t look like things will improve until staff working conditions improve!
we are doomed!
certain staff are almost being begged to do overtime even when they say they are tired……. Staff are obviously of no importance to RM!
they keep putting the prices up, no different to our utility suppliers
its all about the people at the top while the little people are 💩 upon!

I would like to take my LO there as he’s a big meat eater.
my only question is, is it a cashless store?
I hope not as they won’t be getting a penny from me 🤑
