  1. A trimmed bush would get more attention. Friends will follow and chores become jobs halved through sharing.

If it's that much strain PM me your address and I'll come by at the weekend and sort out your bush. I'll accept a beer as payment.

  2. As a fairly new resident, my exploration of the south is continually hampered by the amount of overgrown bushes impeding my path.

Some roads offer little more than a small opening. Can people please trim their bushes.

This goes for the council as well, the trees on Barry road are just top to tail leafy stumps, they offer nothing but a hinderance and offer no aesthetic pleasure.

  3. The trolling of clockworkorange is pointless.

Social media (including the EDF) is an effective tool for consumers to communicate with businesses, especially when they may feel unappreciated when they have tried to give feedback through more traditional channels.

OP said they would no longer shop there and wanted to highlight to our community there thoughts on the establishment and ask for assistance in getting their voice heard.

clockworkorange, maybe you should tweet to Tesco?

I wonder if such issue would exist if there was a Waitrose situated on that site...

  4. How do we not know the OP is of Greek and Chinese heritage and the desire to buy Feta and stir-fry ingredients from a single shop at a budget is an important consideration in their shopping needs? OP do you have a recipe to share for this?

Any criticism of the quality of any establishment is fair to be raised IMO, i for one am happy to see reviews about the quality of local establishments.

Telling people to bugger off isn't constructive for us a community.

  5. I went to India for business last year, i applied for a urgent business visa and once i had all the relevant paperwork i dropped off my application in the morning (8am) and was able to collect it same day (6pm).

It seems a fairly straight forward process and even those applying for non-urgent visas were served very quickly.

I did it without the help of any visa service company and everything was fine first time.

  6. I tried the Marriott Fairview on 33rd last week. It is a year old and breakfast is included. Very clean and has a terrace on the roof with great views (They have a bar on the roof as well) and great location to get around as it's right by Penn station, less than 10 minute walk to Time Square or $7 cab ride.

Else... (and in agreement with Horsebox) I really like SoHotel. As mentioned it's a great location and so many restaurants and bars around there. That part of town is more like the real New York IMO and i find it safe and easy to get around. I could recommend so many places around there.

Have also stayed at the Hotel Jolie in Williamsburg, it's ok, worth going there for the area but harder to get around for Manhattan.
