I would just like to thank the members of the forum for sharing their thoughts & experiences, you have stopped me from entering what looks like a very sticky situation.
Unfortunately, even though I love ED, I won't be moving locally now, but if anyone knows of any nice venues such as pubs, restaurants or hotels looking for an experienced manager, please let me know.
