  1. I was really hoping it wouldn't be him. That's thoroughly rubbish.
  2. Oh gosh that's really sad. I was in the EDT last night and the cat was on my lap. It's not a great shot but I've attached it here.
  3. I took a punt to see whether they would pay out. They have, even though it's less than 30 mins. Do the same please. It's not a lot of money individually, and it's a pain in the @rse to claim, but collectively we can and will make a difference. PLEASE CLAIM.

It was for 11-18.07.16, two claims a day for 5 days and one day I claimed for three cancellations. I have an annual ticket so I only get ?1.40 per journey. Is that what you were asking?
  5. Five letters in the post today and ?16.80 worth of vouchers. I'm claiming for the 07.50 and 18.30 everyday for the duration of the reduced timetable and strike. It's a pain but I'd rather have the cash in my pocket than theirs. Now at which pub should I spend it?!

If you were unable to board the train due to crowding please select 'other' and advise us of the details. So it gives the impression that you can. Claim, claim, claim!

I just got a few vouchers through in the post for cancelled trains - barely enough to cover a glass of wine, but better than nothing.

"?165,479 a day owed by Southern was going unclaimed despite 124,000 passengers suffering delays of 30 minutes or more." Please keep claiming.

I'm helping out by posting this on here, but I'm not leading on this, so please direct any queries to: Rebecca Alabi - [email protected] Thank you!
  10. Please keep claiming for any delayed or cancelled trains and you can claim if your normal train/s have been removed from the current emergency timetable too. They haven't listened to emails, tweets or protests, but they have to listen when it hits their finances... https://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/customer-services/delay-repay/delay-repay-form
  11. Well Claire Perry has gone. Hopefully her replacement can sort this all out.
  12. London Travel Watch is the official watchdog organisation representing the interests of transport users in and around the capital. They can assist with complaints about transport services in London where the service provider has not satisfactorily resolved them. Surely this means it is their remit?!
  13. I've had the following from Govia... I have been able to get more information about additional compensation for customers like yourself who I know have been greatly affected with the service. And I have been informed that while the frequency of some timetables have changed there are no plans to introduce a reduction in the cost of tickets, although while the amended timetable is operating you?ll be able to claim compensation against those trains cancelled in advance, or against delays experienced on the day. So for example if you usually catch the 8:00 am train but with the new timetable the train arrives at 8:30 then that?s already a 30 minute delay you can claim for on top of any delays that may or may not occur on that journey. That way you still get compensation even if your 8:30 train runs perfectly on time. I hope this helps. I have also been informed that we have added a few more trains on to the emended time table which will be available from Monday 18th July. So we are looking at the network and trying to bring services closer to where they should be slowly but gradually, taking into consideration the resources we have available. So I understand its difficult but let?s hope it won?t be too difficult for much longer. I have added a couple train times that are passing through East Dulwich and hope it helps. 0620 Streatham Hill to London Bridge (arriving 0643) calling at Tulse Hill, North Dulwich, East Dulwich, Peckham Rye, Queens Road Peckham and South Bermondsey 0905 Streatham to London Bridge (arriving 0929) calling at Tulse Hill, North Dulwich, East Dulwich , Peckham Rye , Queens Road Peckham and South Bermondsey
  14. Thanks I've emailed him too.
  15. This is a duplicate thread with the 'train cancellations' one. It'll be easier for us to keep all our comments in one place if we can add to that one please? The questions above are answered there. (And the anger mirrored!)
  16. I have had an email response from Helen Hayes. Alongside the letter she has written to Claire Perry she's joined the All Party Parliamentary Group on Southern Rail. She hasn't given an indication on when meetings are taking place, or when we can expect a resolution. The only date mentioned anywhere is the terrifying 2018, stated by Claire Perry. I agree that we need to do more to have our concerns addressed. Emailing MPs doesn't seem to be working.
  17. I have an annual Oyster which comes with a paper Gold card that I scanned in, so to be honest I don't know about monthly tickets. Maybe ask the ticket office (the one at London Bridge near to Platform 14 is usually quiet or at ED when you're getting off the train in the evening?), or somebody else on here might know. You only have to scan it in once (per month) and then they have a record of it. Use the online delay repay form here: https://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/customer-services/delay-repay/delay-repay-form Best of luck!
  18. I get ?1.20 for each journey, they send a voucher and you can cash it in. It's the principle. Why let them get away with it? Every ?1.20 adds up, more at their end than ours, but keep doing it. I claim the minute I'm on a train that is running. It makes the journey to or from work, slightly more bearable, if I feel I'm doing something. Helen Hayes has responded to my tweet with a link to the letter she sent to Claire Perry, which is linked to above. Keep up the pressure team!
  19. For Claire Perry it is suggested we send emails to: [email protected]
  20. I'm emailing: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] If anybody has any luck with Sadiq Khan's email address please ping it across too. As well as tweeting all of them and claiming for every cancelled train that affects me. We all need to do the same to make anything happen. I have friends considering leaving ED because of this and it will have a hugely detrimental affect on an area that we all love. Posting on here is one thing, but we need additional action to make things change.
  21. I just tried to book my classes online and saw the same thing. I'm popping in tomorrow and so I can ask and report back. Unless somebody beats me to it!
  22. It's 14.00 on Saturdays - parcel reunited with owner!
  23. Shame. Parcel will be held hostage for a few more days then!
  24. Hi folks. Does anybody know whether these times are still current? (Hoping that it's now open later on Saturdays!) Thanks, JW
  25. Hardly an obsession with police and crime - merely a concerned local resident asking a question. Thanks Roundabout for the info.
