Millennium do their own deliveries as do Dulwich tandoori which seems to of got better recently after a dip , maybe got a new chef.

Tasty house by Kings Hospital, old school Chinese that does what it says on the tin takeaway, best sweet and sour chicken balls in the area. Do their own deliveries but cash only.

Best bread by a country mile and well worth the price, will be sorely missed by this poster..

If money is no object or you have a nice expense account, Hunan or Hakkasan, locally silk road and for tick the boxes Chinese I would go for Tasty House (great sweet and sour chicken balls) or Hong Kong.

I was referring to the restaurant in chinatown which was known for rude staff and huge plates of food, see below

Another vote for Kens here, also very reasonably priced compared to most of the others mentioned.

Give it a go Mr Fox you wont be disappointed, you can jump on a bus from LL and just get off the Walworth Rd just opposite Westmoreland St.

A kids scooter is hardly an elephant in the room, he could of easily put it in the back for the rest of the day....

Be interesting to see what he'd of done if the person had left/dropped a large quantity of cash in the store, somehow i doubt he'd of put it outside after 10 mins.

The extra cost for fries is something that i've noticed creeping in across the board over the last few years as well as roasts where you now only pay for the meat and then have to pay for all of the other sides at an additional price.

A money transfer shop or morleys chicken shop gets my vote !!

As someone who's used this service on and off for numerous years I can confirm it's always been one of the worst run in town !!

Anyway back to the original talking point, I went there about a month ago for breakfast due to duck egg having closed down. I must say I was surprised upon receiving my full english to have onions mixed in with mushrooms and a stuffed tomato, with food being served like this i can;t say i'm shocked to see it has shut down.

Also on the breaksfast front Johnnies 5 for ?5 is now 5 for ?6 with an additional 50p if you want coffee instead of tea !!

Of course i did, the sausage along with bacon are in my eyes the most quintessential part of the traditional English breakfast, cold beans, over cooked eggs or no mushrooms i can live with but a poor quality sausage ruins the experience in my humble opinion.

Have you changed your sausages,I popped in a couple of weeks ago for the 5 for ?5 and the sausage wasn't up to its usual standard, can you confirm if this was indeed a one off or if you have infact changed your sausage supplier, obviously this will impact on where I breakfast moving forwards.

intexasatthemoment, if you are indeed so, I credit you with showing concern over a road closure on the the other side of the pond, in fact if i was wearing a hat I would doff it to you, obviously it would have to be of the ten gallon variety in homage to your current location.

Where have I said it doesn't increase it elsewhere ? My personal opinion is i prefer it with the road shut, obviously other people have different opinions, what a boring place it would be if we were all the same but please never forget we are all Gods children!!
