As per title, we are planning to re-paint the front of our victorian terrace/ currently yellow.

What are the best colours to go for and what brand to use?

I know colour is down to personal taste, but i was thinking that someone can advise on latest colour trends and if you could add colour brand and number would be fab..

I have spent hours of the internet trying to find inspirations, but could find very little info.. maybe was not looking at the right websites? Any suggestions on that?

Property developer bought the building with the flats and shop premises, to build luxury/ yet more unaffordable flats... Mrs Robinson set to re-open once building works done, but with a smaller shop cz one half of the shop premises will be converted into s flat.

Although second agent did not take it off the market, I called them twice in two weeks 'to arrange a viewing' and was told in both instances, that the property was sold..

We are/ were in the process of buying our first property. Our offer was accepted below the asking price, solicitor instructed. Then came the call, that someone put a much higher offer in. We did not budge we thought/ still think agent was bluffing, 2 days later agent franticly calls that vendor changed their mind they still want to go with our offer. Than five days later agent calls, there is a real offer on the table that is higher than we put in. Now we are furious, we think for all this time we were led on, whilst agent still conducted viewings behind our back. We already spent couple of hundreds of pounds on solicitor/ mortgage fees.

Is there any advice out there for us, what we could have done better? We were assured by agent that they have cancelled all viewings..Also agent said that vendor does not wish to disclose how much higher was the offer and that the offer come from another estate agent who was also advertising the property.

We are first time buyers, put on an offer on a property that was rejected. Agent spelt out how much would be an acceptable one for the seller,but we decided to wait a bit longer before we match it, to see, if vendor changes their mind and accepts our initial offer. Two weeks later, we are calling the agency, we are told the agent who was dealing with us, no longer works for the company. Regardless of that we put our offer forward that we were told would be accepted by vendor, but to our surprise, we were told, it was way too low and that the vendor is looking for offers that is min 10k higher than ours. I was too embarrassed to tell the agent, that the previous agent said it would be accepted. Now, we are thinking of dropping a letter to vendor to make sure he is aware of our offer. I read it online that estate agents sometimes pushing for higher offers even tough seller would settle for less. I know that legally all offers should be put forward to vendor..maybe they changed their mind and want more for their property? Any thoughts, or tips on this subject would be welcome!
